www.smartraveller.gov.au: This websites run by the Australian Government offers people planning a trip overseas lots of advice on health, travel warnings and general tips to make your holiday safer. It provides information on safety advice, local laws and customs, visa requirements.

http://www.lonelyplanet.com/destinations This is a fantastic website that gives you a starting point on your holiday destination whether the student knows where he/she is planning to travel to or is still unsure of the final destination. The webpage opens to a world map. The students then only have to click on the different regions of the world to get detailed information to help them make a decision on where they would like to travel to on their 7 day adventure holiday. You will find information on hotels, flights and sight-seeing.

Both of these websites have easy to use and easy to access currency converters. The currency converter is located on each websites home page, which makes it easy to find. To use all you have to do is get your students to type in either currency they want to change and the converter does the work for you.

Has a walking and driving journey planner with distance and estimated travel time, a option that allows you to pinpoint places and show routes, and an option to search for hotels, restaurants, parks and shopping centres. Maps are also savable and sharable. Quite easy to use.
