Publish your own magazine online.
Openzine is a free online resource that enables users to create, edit and publish their very own magazine on the internet.
It is simple to start. Go to the website. New users will need to sign up before they can start creating their magazine. Create a log in and password and your students are on their way.
There is easy to follow video clips that show you and your students how to add content to your magazine.
The magazine is not published until you have finished and are completely happy with the contents tha the students have contributed.

Calameo is another website that offers a magazine building platform, but is a little different to Openzine. Calameo brings all your produced documents together, either as word documents or pdf's and loads them into a magazine of your choice and design.
The magazine once constructed even has pages that flip and turn, so you actually feel like you are reading an online magazine.
Once again you need to set up an account to use this magazine builder but that is as easy as entering your email and password details.
Pressjack's website offers the ability to again build and create a magazine to your own liking.
Pressjack is similar to Calameo in the way that this website lets you upload your own work from your own computer.
So the students could be working on word documents, or editing and cropping images then be able to upload into this web based magazine platform to put together the magazine.
